Critter Quibbles Terms of Use

Overview

These Terms are between you and Ankur Gupta LLC, a United States limited liability company that operates Critter Quibbles. They apply to your use of the game, including daily and archived puzzles, Game Center features, community links, and purchases made through Apple. By downloading or using Critter Quibbles, you agree to these Terms. If you are not old enough to agree where you live, a parent or guardian must approve your use.

The App Store may identify Ankur Gupta personally as the seller of record. Ankur Gupta LLC remains the operator of Critter Quibbles under these Terms.

Apple License Terms

Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement applies to the licensed Critter Quibbles app. These Terms supplement that agreement for game-specific gameplay, support, community, and subscription behavior. If these Terms conflict with mandatory law or Apple’s Standard EULA for the app license, mandatory law or Apple’s Standard EULA controls.

Free Daily Puzzle

The shared daily puzzle is free. Critter Quibbles does not display advertising, sell hints or consumable currency, or require an Archive subscription to play the current daily puzzle.

Archive Subscriptions

Monthly and annual Archive subscriptions unlock eligible past puzzles and the growing Archive while the subscription is active. Payment is charged to your Apple Account. Prices and taxes vary by storefront. Any free trial or introductory offer is shown by Apple before purchase and is limited by Apple’s eligibility rules. After an offer ends, the subscription renews at the displayed price unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in Apple Account subscription settings. Restore Purchases asks Apple to restore eligible access for the current Apple Account.

Subscription access does not guarantee permanent availability of separate Apple services such as Game Center, leaderboards, or achievements. Critter Quibbles may update presentation, difficulty, clue wording, or future puzzle generation while preserving already released daily puzzles as required by the game’s shared-puzzle design.

Gameplay And Availability

Critter Quibbles is a logic game, not gambling. Daily puzzles, master challenges, scores, streaks, generated content, and optional connected features may vary in difficulty or depend on compatible app versions, networks, and third-party service availability. Local core gameplay does not require Game Center sign-in.

Community Links

Critter Quibbles may link to r/CritterQuibbles for discussion of the shared daily puzzle. Reddit is a separate service governed by its own terms, policies, moderation, and availability. The subreddit is not required for iOS gameplay or Archive access.

Acceptable Use

Do not reverse engineer the app except where applicable law permits it, interfere with service operation, manipulate leaderboard or achievement submissions, evade purchase controls, harass other community participants, or use Critter Quibbles in a way that violates law or another person’s rights.

Intellectual Property

Critter Quibbles’ original code, game presentation, mascot, puzzle system, and original assets are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Unicode emoji, Apple services, and third-party platforms remain owned and licensed by their respective owners. These Terms do not transfer ownership of original or third-party content to you.

Refunds

Refund requests for App Store purchases are handled by Apple where required or applicable. Ankur Gupta LLC does not control Apple’s refund decisions or App Store billing systems.

Disclaimers And Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Critter Quibbles is provided as available without warranties beyond those that cannot legally be excluded. Ankur Gupta LLC is not responsible for outages or decisions controlled by Apple, Reddit, network providers, or device settings. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ankur Gupta LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the app. These limitations do not exclude liability or consumer rights that applicable law does not allow to be excluded.

Privacy

The Critter Quibbles Privacy Policy explains local data, Apple services, external links, retention, deletion, and contact options and is incorporated into these Terms.

Changes

We may update these Terms when the game or legal requirements change. The effective date identifies the current version. Continued use after updated Terms take effect is subject to any notice or consent required by law.
