Impossible Coasters Privacy Policy

Overview

Impossible Coasters minimizes data collection. Core gameplay, settings, puzzle progress, and customization choices stay on your device unless you choose to use Apple services, make or restore a purchase, or contact support. Impossible Coasters does not display advertising and does not use tracking, attribution, advertising identifiers, a player-account backend, cloud saves, or remote crash reporting.

Impossible Coasters is operated by Ankur Gupta, an independent developer in the United States (“Impossible Coasters,” “we,” or “us”). For personal information that Impossible Coasters controls, Ankur Gupta is the controller or responsible business.

Information Stored On Your Device

The game stores settings and progress locally, including completed levels, earned stars, unlocked content, selected theme and app icon, language, audio and haptic preferences, tutorial state, and a cached full-game entitlement. This information supports gameplay, preserves your choices, and allows a previously verified purchase to keep working when the device is offline. We do not automatically receive these local records.

Local game data remains on the device until you reset it through an available game or system control, delete the app, or the operating system removes it. Deleting the app removes the game's local data, subject to Apple's normal backup and restoration behavior.

AR Camera Data

AR Playground can use the rear camera and Apple's augmented-reality framework to detect a surface and place a coaster in your space. Camera images and scene-mapping information are processed on the device for the live AR experience. Impossible Coasters does not record, store, upload, or receive the camera feed or a map of your surroundings.

RevenueCat Purchase Processing

Impossible Coasters uses RevenueCat, Inc. as a service provider to validate the one-time full-game purchase, restore access, prevent purchase fraud, and keep the full-game entitlement available across launches. The RevenueCat SDK creates an anonymous app user identifier and processes purchase history, transaction and entitlement information, an Apple receipt, last-seen time, and limited technical information such as device type, operating-system and app versions, locale, currency, and the IP address used for a network request.

We do not give RevenueCat your name, email address, a developer-created player account, advertising identifier, contacts, precise location, camera data, or gameplay history. We do not link RevenueCat's anonymous app user identifier to your real-world identity. Purchase history is used for app functionality and RevenueCat's service analytics; it is not used by Impossible Coasters or RevenueCat to track you across other companies' apps or websites for advertising.

Apple Services

Purchases and restoration are processed by Apple's App Store and StoreKit systems. Apple may link transaction information to your Apple Account under its own policies. Impossible Coasters and RevenueCat do not receive your payment-card details.

Game Center is optional. If you are signed in, the game reads and reports achievement progress through Apple's Game Center service. Apple processes your Game Center identity, game activity, achievements, and related information under Apple's policies. We do not operate a separate account or copy your Game Center profile to our own server.

Review Apple's Privacy Policy, App Store privacy notice, and Game Center privacy notice. Apple-held data can be managed through Apple's privacy portal.

Full Game Purchase

Impossible Coasters is a free download. The tutorial and first world are free. An optional one-time, non-consumable Full Game purchase unlocks the remaining worlds and premium content. It is not a subscription, does not create an account, and does not remove advertising because the game does not display advertising.

Support Messages

If you email us, we receive the address and information you choose to include. Support messages are used to respond, investigate issues, keep necessary business records, and protect the game. Please do not send sensitive personal information. You may ask us to delete a support message unless it must be retained for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or legal compliance.

Sharing, Purposes, And Legal Bases

App-originated information is processed only through the Apple and RevenueCat services described above or when you intentionally contact support. We do not sell personal information, provide local gameplay history to data brokers, or share information for targeted advertising.

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we rely on performance of the app and purchase contract for gameplay and entitlements, and legitimate interests in app security, fraud prevention, support, service analytics, and reliable operation. Service providers may process information in countries other than your own under their legal and contractual safeguards.

Retention And Deletion

We keep support correspondence only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above. RevenueCat maintains an anonymous purchase and entitlement record as needed to provide purchase access, restoration, service analytics, fraud prevention, and legal compliance, subject to its contractual retention and backup practices. Apple controls retention for App Store and Game Center information it processes.

Contact us for help with a request involving an Impossible Coasters RevenueCat customer record. Because the game has no player account and the RevenueCat identifier is anonymous, we may need information from your device or purchase record to locate the correct record and may not be able to associate an anonymous record with you. Requests concerning Apple-controlled information should use Apple's privacy controls and request channels.

Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, or withdrawal of consent for personal information we control. We will not discriminate against you for exercising applicable privacy rights. If you are in the EEA or United Kingdom, you may also lodge a complaint with the data-protection supervisory authority where you live or work.

Children

Impossible Coasters is a general-audience game and is not specifically directed to children. It does not knowingly operate child profiles or collect names, birth dates, or contact details from players inside the app. Parents and guardians should supervise device, Game Center, camera, and purchase settings. If you believe a child sent personal information to support, contact us so it can be reviewed and deleted where appropriate.

Security

We use Apple platform protections, encrypted network connections provided by Apple and RevenueCat, and data-minimization practices. No storage or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure.

Website

The ankgupta.com website does not currently use analytics or advertising cookies. Its hosting and security providers may process limited technical information and strictly necessary cookies to deliver the page, diagnose problems, prevent abuse, and protect availability.

Changes To This Policy

We may update this policy when the game, providers, or legal requirements change. The effective date above identifies the current version. Material changes will be reflected here before the related feature is released where practicable.
