Reading and saved state
Continue Reading returns to your canonical reading position. Random and Discover do not replace that position unless you choose Read in Chapter. Your notes and saved state are local. If the app reports a storage error, free device storage and relaunch before taking any action that deletes app data.
Language and sources
Scroll Shlokas includes all 701 shlokas with Sanskrit and complete offline English and Hindi meanings. Hindi wording is lightly modernized from Madhavrao Sapre’s historical 1917 translation. Deep Study includes bilingual, independently automated-reviewed summaries, Sanskrit term explanations and related passages. Tilak/Sapre and Shankara/Sastri interpretations remain attributed to their traditions; no human scholarly review is claimed. Source, correction and CC BY-SA 4.0 notices appear in Settings and study screens. To report a transcription issue, include the chapter, shloka number and source passage.
Widgets
Touch and hold your Home Screen, choose Edit, then Add Widget. Search for Scroll Shlokas and choose Hourly Shloka, Daily Shloka or Favorite Shlokas. Lock Screen widgets are added through Lock Screen customization. Hourly shlokas and favorites schedule hourly changes; daily shlokas remain for your local calendar day. iOS controls widget refresh timing. Favorite a shloka in the app to include it in the favorites widget. Tap a widget to open its shloka; reading is recorded through the normal in-app dwell, not a widget button.
Purchases and cancellation
An active subscription or eligible trial is required to enter the app. Deep Study is included; no second study subscription is required. Restore Purchases checks purchases made with your Apple Account. Cancellation stops renewal and access continues through the remaining paid or trial period; expiration returns you to the entry paywall. Cancel subscriptions in Apple Account subscription settings; deleting the app does not cancel them. Apple handles refunds. A TestFlight sandbox purchase is a test transaction; follow the terms shown by Apple.
